OHSU and its Center for Health Systems Effectiveness will host a summit at the Governor (recently re-named Sentinel) Hotel to discuss payment innovations in Oregon’s health care systems, both for Medicaid and for other public and commercial purchasers.
At the summit, the center will present new data on results of Oregon’s CCO transformation and address questions of key importance, including:

  • Is Oregon’s CCO experiment succeeding in reducing costs and improving care for Medicaid patients?
  • What does that mean for commercial purchasers?
  • How will the new Public Employee Benefits Board plan realign incentives?

The meeting will be keynoted by Michael Chernew, a national expert on health care payment reform at Harvard Medical School.
